The 7th International Sustainability Transitions Conference will be hosted by the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, Energy. The conference will be guided by the theme "Exploring transition research as transformative science" and will seek to find ways of increasing the societal impact of our work and reflect on the role of scientists in the transition to sustainable development. The location Wuppertal plays a huge role for the Wuppertal Institute's research as it functions as urban real-world lab.
The conference is hosted during the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Wuppertal Institute.
