Three JRF Institutes among the Best Think Tanks Worldwide

Three institutes of the Johannes-Rau-Forschungsgemeinschaft (JRF) are among the top Think Tanks worldwide. The JRF is a research foundation of 15 independent, non-university and non-profit research institutes based in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany. According to the Global Go To Think Tank Ranking 2016, the German Development Institute (DIE), the International Centre for Conversion (BICC), and the Wuppertal Institute are among the most renowned research and consulting institutes worldwide.

The prestigious ranking of the three institutes is clearly a quality certificate for the JRF and shows that the scientific work and research conducted at the independent JRF institutes is internationally recognised and valued, says Prof. Dr. Uwe Schneidewind, scientific director of the JRF and president of the Wuppertal Institute.
