This years' EXPO, guided by the theme "Future Energy: Action for Global Sustainability", will take place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. During the EXPO, there will be twelve conferences to discuss different issues about energy. More than 100 countries will participate in this event, represented by high-level representatives, international agencies, leading scientists and academics, NGOs, visionaries and leaders, innovators in industry and engineering as well as other key players and stakeholders.
The first conference with the topic Energy Revolution will be held on the 29th and 30th of June. On day two, there will be a workshop and a round table on the new municipal energy corporations revolution to deliver renewable energy and climate change mitigation targets, which will be held by Prof. Dr. Fischedick and Prof. Lars J. Nilsson as well as Allan Jones, CEO of Allan Jones Energy and Climate Change, and Dilip Limaye, CEP of SRC Global Inc.
