Eco-Innovation will fuel the transition to a circular economy. The report "Eco-innovation and competitiveness" presents evidence of changes already happening across the EU and highlights some of the key barriers and future challenges toward mainstreaming a circular economy model. Furthermore the authors look at five activities that are crucial to building up a resource-efficient economy: design, repair, reuse, remanufacturing and recycling. Meghan O'Brien, research fellow at the Wuppertal Institute is a member of the authors team. The report is available in the bookshop of the EU.
