Energy Efficiency Watch reports published

  • News 06.03.2017

2016 was the year of delivery - not only for the European Commission, but also for the Energy Efficiency Watch (EEW) consortium. The results of the various research activities have been published throughout the year and the findings are now disseminated all over Europe. 2017 is going to be an important year for energy efficiency in the EU as it will see the revision of some crucial energy legislation.

Since 2006, the Energy Efficiency Watch project facilitates and supports the implementation of EU energy efficiency policies in the Member States. The project's publications include 28 Country Reports, which analyse the progress of energy efficiency in each Member State, 10 Case Studies that present outstanding energy efficiency policies in Europe and offer inspiration to policy makers, the Key Policy Conclusions, which condense the projects and translate them into strategic policy conclusions, the project brochure "How to make Europe Number 1 in Energy Efficiency" and the Expert Survey Report, which gathered input from over 1100 experts, reporting on levels of ambition and progress of efficiency policies in each Member State.

All documents are now online and can be downloaded from the project's website.
