The 9th biennial Conference of the International Society for Industrial Ecology (ISIE) and the 25th annual Conference of the International Symposium on Sustainable Systems and Technology (ISSST) take place in Chicago, US, guided by the theme "Science in Support of Sustainable and Resilient Communities". The joint conference will include keynote speakers, topical workshops, special sessions and panels, and oral presentations and posters describing research, applications, tools, and case studies. From the Wuppertal Institute, Nadja von Gries will be one of the presenters in a parallel session.
