Rebooting regional economies and transition to a low-carbon economy!

The EIT Climate-KIC flagship "Re-Industrialise" which is lead by the Wuppertal Institute aims to support the transition of European regions with high-emitting industry clusters to low carbon innovation hotspots. The flagship opens twice a year a call for proposals for triggering low carbon innovation in these regions. The next call will close on 28 October and will be published two months ahead.
The Re-Industrialise team will host a follow-up webinar on 5 September 2018, from 13.30 to 14.30 CET, in order to give a deeper insights on the topical focus of the call, examples of successful projects emerged under Re-Industrialise and guidance for preparing and submitting a proposal.

The webinar is directed to stakeholders from high-emitting European industry regions and organisations with relevant expertise. These stakeholders include, e.g., regional and local authorities, research institutes, consulting organisations, development agencies or companies. Non-members of Climate-KIC are encouraged to team up with Climate-KIC members to develop proposals. The Re-Industrialise team offers support in this process.
