Transport and Climate Change Week

In cooperation with partners initiatives the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) hosts this year’s Transport and Climate Change Week in Berlin from 24 to 28 of September 2018. The Wuppertal Institute actively supports the planning and organisation and contributes to several sessions.
Representatives from Urban Pathways and UEMI partner cities will participate in the training week and will work with other with local and national government officials on participatory planning, e-mobility and innovation in transportation. The Transport and Climate Change Week aims to share experiences about sustainable transportation to limit climate change and foster knowledge exchange between transport experts from all over the world. The event will host more than 70 participants from 14 countries. The partner cities Belo Horizonte, Kochi and Accra will contribute to various sessions and will share recent updates from the joint project activities.
