Innovation for better Quality of Life in Cities and Communities

From 27 to 31 May 2019, the first session of the UN-Habitats Assembly will take place at the headquarters in Nairobi under the main theme "Innovation for better Quality of Life in Cities and Communities" and the sub-topic "Accelerated Implementation of the New Urban Agenda towards Achievement oft the Sustainable Development Goals". The target group includes United Nations Agencies, local authorities as well as non-state actors. 

Oliver Lah, Head of the Mobility and International Cooperation Division at the Wuppertal Institute, will present results from the EMPOWER project, the Urban Pathways project and the FUTURE RADAR project in several side-events. Moreover, a knowledge partnership with the Technical University Berlin and UN-Habitat will be launched at this occasion.
