Within the QualDeEPC project, researchers of the Wuppertal Institute want to improve the practical implementation of the assessment, issuance, design, and use of energy performance certificates (EPCs) as well as their renovation recommendations, in the examined countries Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Latvia, Hungary, Spain and Sweden and beyond. With the new deliverable "Green paper on good practice in EPC assessment, certification, and use" the project participants provide further analysis, policy proposals, and draft descriptions of tools on the following areas, which they have identified as priorities for the development of enhanced EPC schemes:
For each topic, the project participants evaluated the situation in the partner countries, highlight best practice examples and, based on these, propose cross-national measures for improvements.
QualDeEPC has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 847100. Further information on the green paper and the project QualDeEPC can be found under the links below
