Within the QualDeEPC project, researchers of the Wuppertal Institute examine how to improve the practical implementation of the assessment, issuance, design, and use of energy performance certificates (EPCs) and give their renovation recommendations. With the new deliverable "Green paper on good practice in EPC assessment, certification, and use" the project participants provide further analysis, policy proposals, and draft descriptions of tools on the following areas, to develop enhanced EPC schemes:
In this EU-level workshop on 25 January 2021, from 12 to 14 pm (CET), QualDeEPC project participants will present the developed proposals. Based on the inputs from the European Commission regarding the EU Renovation Wave and the draft proposals of QualDeEPC's Green Paper, the workshop will discuss the question of what an enhanced EPC scheme has to look like to become a driver for the EU Renovation Wave, and what QualDeEPC's proposals can contribute to it.
The project QualDeEPC has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 847100. Further information on the project, the workshop, and the registration form can be found under the links below.
