Humboldt n: Hydrogen Innovation Ecosystem

Call for applications for the interdisciplinary summer school for a sustainable hydrogen economy

  • Events 19.06. - 21.06.2023
  • Location Aachen

The second Humboldtn Summer school will be held from 19 to 21 June 2023 and focuses on the "Hydrogen Innovation Ecosystem” from an interdisciplinary perspective. Researchers can now apply for the interdisciplinary Summer School of the alliance for sustainability of the 16 universities in North Rhine-Westphalia.

During the event, keynote speeches from science and practice will highlight various stages of the value chain of a hydrogen economy (production, storage, distribution, use) and purposefully connect business, science and society. Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research approaches offer the opportunity to integrate not only engineering but also, for example, social and economic innovation research. Researchers who would like to explore the content of the "Hydrogen Innovation Ecosystem'' in an interdisciplinary way and with reference to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are invited to participate in the second Humboldtn summer school. The Call for Applications addresses postdocs and advanced PhD students of all subjects from universities and non-university research institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia. The summer school will take place at RWTH Aachen University with the participation of Forschungszentrum Jülich as part of the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA). Humboldtn is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Strategic partners are the Wuppertal Institute and the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts.

The registration is possible until 31 March 2023. Further information can be found under the link below.
