Commodities and materials cause costs especially in material intensive production processes. Since the prices on the international market of raw materials are continuously increasing, companies are concerned to reduce these costs in order to gain competitive advantages. Therefore the increase of material efficiency is already a strategic goal in many sectors. Especially the substitution of conventional materials by new and cheaper material grades, the application of forward-looking, efficient technologies and the development of new supply of services requires the settlement of several players: raw material distributors, material conditioning, design, application. In order to make these synergy potentials accessible and to face the challenge to improve the rentability of material use, network approaches are eminentely adequate.
Considering that, the main aim of the network "Faircycle" is to construct the central product in the value-added chain "exhibition hall" material optimized and thus generating cost and competitive advantages in the international economic competition. Potentials for an increased rentability in the material use can be found alongside the complete production chain of trade fair construction: beginning with exploration and raw materials production, transportation, upgrading of materials, construction to the point of use and reuse of second hand materials, products and units.
The attractiveness and the benefit for the network partners result from different aspects:
