Investments in Manufacturing and Construction of Renewable Energy Plants in Germany

The aim of this project is to analyse the investment activities and their impact on the national economy as a result of the development of renewable energies. The future total investments in manufacturing plants in Germany will be determined and modelled until 2030. Via a primary data collection companies will be interviewed with respect to their economic development until 2014.
Based on an economic model, the investment volume of the renewable-energy-industry will be projected until 2030.
The study will analyse specified investments and the statements about the sales trends of German manufacturers of plants and components.
In this project the Wuppertal Institute particularly is working in the subject "Employment trend in the sector renewable energies".
