The project EL-EFF Region pursued a cross-sectoral approach to increase the efficiency in the electricity sector in eight European regions: Upper Austria (A), Ile-de-France (F), Pomerania (PL), South Bohemia (Cz), Västra Götaland (S), Madrid (E), Navarra (E), Saxony (D). Core products of this project were regional action plans, regional action packages and electricity saving campaigns, which were addressed to energy intensive sectors in the survey regions. The Wuppertal Institute supported the project partners in developing action plans and packages, and supplied inputs in regional stakeholder dialogues.
