KSK Frechen

On behalf of the City of Frechen, the planning consultant Jung Stadtkonzepte is developing the transport section of a climate protection concept. As a subcontractor, Wuppertal Institute supports the project team. As a first step, Wuppertal Institute advises Jung Stadtkonzepte regarding methods, data sources, recent studies, and best-practice examples on the support of climate-friendly mobility. Additionally, Wuppertal Institute participates in a workshop of mobility stakeholders with a keynote presentation on potentials and options of climate-friendly mobility in mid-sized cities. Finally a project fact sheet will be developed, comprising the workshop results and the potential analysis conducted in the project.
