Prof. Dr. Raimund Bleischwitz appointed by the University College London

Development of a new institute for sustainable resources

Prof. Dr. Raimund Bleischwitz, co-director of a research group at the Wuppertal Institute, will start working at the University College London (UCL) with effect from 1 August 2013. He will join the ISR team as the BHP Billiton Chair in Sustainable Global Resources.

UCL is one of the top-twenty universities of the world. Together with Prof. Paul Ekins, a leading eco-innovation researcher, Prof. Bleischwitz will develop the newly installed "Institute for Sustainable Resources".

Until the end of June Prof. Bleischwitz will be working as guest researcher at the Johns Hopkins University at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS), Washington D.C. (USA).
