Leveraging Innovative Finance Together

For the second time, WISIONS is supporting Nexus for Development in organising a two-day workshop on "Leveraging Innovative Finance Together". The free two-day workshop aims to accelerate clean energy and water solutions entrepreneurship in Myanmar and across Asia by promoting mutual understanding and improved cooperation between entrepreneurs and financiers. 
The workshop will take place from 26 to 27 February 2019 at the Sule Shangri-La Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar.

On 26 February, a training course on financial topics for entrepreneurs in the field of sustainable energy, water and wastewater management will take place. During a peer-to-peer dialogue, best practices on the use of innovative financing opportunities in Asia will be exchanged. The following day there will be a workshop followed by networking for entrepreneurs, financial investors and intermediaries. 
Carmen Dienst, Project Co-ordinator of "WISIONS of Sustainability" in the Division Future Energy and Mobility Structures at the Wuppertal Institute, will actively participate in this event, which is organised and financially supported by WISIONS of Sustainability.
