The Institute for European Studies at the University of British Columbia organises a conference on "Climate Policies, International Regimes and Global Trade: A Transatlantic Perspective". In three sessions ("Taking Stock: Climate Policy Approaches in the EU, US and Canada", "International Regimes and Climate Policy and International Trade", "Border Adjustments and Carbon Policies") international policy experts will talk about different aspects of climate policies. Wolfgang Sterk from Wuppertal Institute will give a lecture on "A Transatlantic Carbon Market - Real Prospect or Pipe Dream?".
