Sustainable (bio-based) textiles recycling – how to make it happen and who will be involved? The BIOTEXFUTURE Fall 2022 Forum titled "Scaling Sustainable (Bio-Based) Textiles Recycling'' addresses this topic on 19 October 2022 from 1 pm to 5 pm.

It brings together a diverse set of stakeholders to learn more about how sustainable (bio-based) textiles recycling can be realised. Burcu Gözet, Researcher in the Material Loops Research Unit at the Wuppertal Institute, delivers a deep dive into current research in the field and talks about "Enabling the recycling of Biotextiles – Status Quo and Potential Measures from a circular economy perspective" at 14.10 pm.
Alongside the Wuppertal Institute, Soex and I:Collect GmbH share their perspective as a recycler. The start-up Infinited Fiber shares its learnings and the private equity firm FullCycle highlights key insights from the investment side. The Research Institute Adelphi gives input on value chain partnerships for pre-consumer textile recycling.
