In 2000 and 2001 the Wuppertal Institute already served as the designer and facilitator of the Sustainable Energy Knowledge Network on behalf of UNDP. In 2002, apart from that several electronic newsletters (1 per 2 month) were edited discussing important topics of today's links between sustainable energy and poverty reduction and development.
Objectives:
- Transfer of Know-how to the UNDP country offices to support their field work.
- Facilitating information exchanges, debates and discussions among group members.
- Identifying, monitoring, collecting and disseminating substantive news (e.g. case studies, research findings, publications, and conferences) that are considered to be relevant to UNDP programming activities.
