Together with the Wuppertal Institute, the Mehrwegverband Deutschland e. V. has been commissioned by the Federal Environment Agency to lay the foundations for a joint impact measurement of the return pilots for reusable to-go-containers in Germany. The aim is to work with initiators and participants from pilot projects to share, reflect on and further develop their approaches to impact measurement, test their practical suitability and, ideally, agree on a common method for impact measurement.
To this end, the project team consisting of Mehrwegverband and Wuppertal Institut brings stakeholders together in several workshops. The results are summarised in a report that presents the pilot projects, shows different design dimensions and lists initial indicators for impact measurement.
