International Sustainability Transitions (IST) Conference 2016 in Wuppertal

The 7th International Sustainability Transitions (IST) Conference will be hosted by the Wuppertal Institute, in cooperation with the Centre for Transformation Research and Sustainability (TransZent) at the University of Wuppertal. The IST conference, which is part of the activities of the Sustainability Transitions Research Network (STRN), will take place from 6 - 9 September 2016 in Wuppertal.

The Call for Papers is open now and contributions can be submitted until 29 February 2016. Following the theme of IST 2016 "Exploring Transition Research as Transformative Science" contributions are invited focusing on the conceptual and methodological challenges of research that is actively involved in transitions to sustainable development. Contributions are also invited that focus on theoretical, empirical and practical advances in the field of sustainability transitions, covering a broad range of areas (e.g. energy, water, mobility, food systems) and disciplinary approaches.
