The EABEW (Eastern Africa Business and Economic Watch) is an international conference organised this year for the fourth time by the College of Business and Economics and the University of Rwanda in cooperation with the Jönköping International Business School.
The theme of the conference is "Inclusive growth and sustainable socio-economic transformation". Theoretical, methodological, empirical, political or practice-oriented research work on this topic will be presented by academics and actors from business. The contributions are in the fields of economics and business management as well as other interdisciplinary fields that contribute to socio-economic transformation. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Manfred Fischedick, Vice President of the Wuppertal Institute, will give a keynote speech on "Climate Change and Natural Disasters". The conference will take place from 12 to 14 June 2019 in Kigali, Rwanda.
