Resource Strategies in Japan

Brochure shows options for Germany and Europe

  • Publications 23.04.2008

The Wuppertal Institute and the Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) analysed Japanese strategies on dematerialisation and resource efficiency on behalf of the Federal Environment Agency. The project "Resource Strategies in Japan" aimed at finding new options for the development of German and European resource efficiency strategies in the field of 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle). To achieve this, an expert's workshop (6 June 2007) and an international conference (6 November 2007) were hosted in Berlin. The brochure that is now available summarises the findings of the project and conference and gives an outlook on a possible Japanese-German cooperation.
