On 6 April 2023, the online seminar "The Multiple Impacts of Energy Efficiency: Social Indicators" will be held as part of a webinar series by the Multiple Impacts Calculation Tool (MICAT) project. The project aims to develop a comprehensive approach to estimating the multiple impacts of energy efficiency by creating a free, easy-to-use, science-based online tool (MICATool).

The online seminar will present MICAT's social indicators and their relevance and areas for improvement based on case studies and modeling results. The results will then be distilled into policy lessons and discussed with audience members in a question and answer session. Florin Vondung, Senior Researcher in the Energy Policy Research Unit at the Wuppertal Institute, gives an input on "The Multiple Impacts of Energy Efficiency: Social Indicators". Diedert Debusscher from the European Copper Institute moderates the online seminar.

The online event is aimed at policy actors, research institutions, EU-funded projects and other national or international stakeholders interested in understanding the multiple impacts that energy efficiency can have within Europe.
