Based on the climate protection concept of Munich as well as on the Inzell-initiative, this project scetches technical options and potential pathways to reduce Munich's GHG emissions to a level near zero.
The following key activities are the core of the project:

• Evaluation of currently leading concepts for zero emission and/or low carbon societies;
• Development of core strategies to zero emission cities based on existing long term strategies e.g. on the national level;
• Outline of quantitative scenarios for a zero-emission Munich and development of a zero emission model city-quarter.
