The library covers all the focal points of the Wuppertal Institute's work and is constantly expanding its media stock on the following topics and others:
The library's stock currently consists of about 16,000 books, 150 magazines and journals and 1,100 electronic media. They are classified in accordance with a system devised by Nadja Schiemann that covers all the subject areas in which material is collected. All media are catalogued in an intranet database that also includes essays, articles and conference reports by Institute staff.
Workstations and a book scanner are available.
Monday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. / Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
(Non-members of the Institute are welcome to use the library, but please contact the Librarian beforehand.)
