Circular Food Packaging Solutions for the Household – Made from Recycled Materials and Designed for Recycling

On October 1, the 15th Cofresco Forum Round Table will bring together leading representatives from science, industry and public initiatives to discuss innovative solutions and forward-looking strategies for the circular economy in the food packaging sector. The aim is to promote professional exchange, highlight current developments and provide practical impetus for sustainable packaging solutions.

Participants can expect a varied programme covering key aspects of the circular economy in the food packaging sector: Renowned experts will present on vital topics such as the production and design of packaging for a circular bioeconomy, regulatory frameworks such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and advancements in innovative sorting and recycling technologies.

Franziska Erbe, Researcher in the Circular Transitions Research Unit at the Wuppertal Institute, will give a lecture on "Certification of Sustainable Packaging", in which she will present findings from the innoCErt project, and will engage in the concluding panel discussion.
