The Bundesverband Glasindustrie e.V. (BV Glas) has dedicated itself to analyse container glass regarding their sustainability. In this context, the Wuppertal Institute is comparing the Material Footprints and Carbon Footprints of creme-jars made of glass and plastics. Following this analysis there is also a tool to be developed, which can be used to roughly calculate other forms of container glass.
