Competition of German Communities for a Better Zero Emission Mobility - Second Competition ZEM 2009/2010
The Federal Ministry for the Environment aims to promote walking and cycling in German municipalities. The project "Zero Emission Mobility" carries out a contest for the second time in which five municipalities will be chosen for the implementation of an image and information campaign enforcing zero emission mobility. The contest started in August 2009, the campaign will run in the course of 2010. The Wuppertal Institute will organise the two-stage contest for the selection of the winning municipalities on behalf of Velokonzept Saade GmbH and fairkehr GmbH. This includes the modification of the call for tender and the development of evaluation criteria as well as jury procedure for the selection of municipalities. The jury meetings will also be prepared and moderated by the Wuppertal Institute.
