Scientific Monitoring of the SMART CSOs Lab

  • Project no.250405
  • Duration 02/2015 - 11/2015

The "Berlin Smart CSOs Lab" supports Civil Society Organisations in promoting change processes towards a Great Transformation. Participants from CSOs (active in the fields of enviroment, development and wellbeing) take part in a series of three workshops. They develop experiments aiming at higher transformative impacts of civil society actors. They reflect these new ideas with colleagues and possibly implement them within their organisations. The Berlin Smart CSOs Lab is organised by Impuls - Agentur für angewandte Utopien in collaboration with the Smart CSOs Lab network. The project is funded by the German Environmental Agency (UBA). The Wuppertal Institute provides scientific support to design and implement the lab based on the institute's expertise in transition reasearch. Furthermore, the Wuppertal Institute monitors the processes and impacts of the lab with the objective to gain a deeper understanding of how real-life transformation processes can be promoted.
